This Minnesota-based food forest was designed as a haven for both people and pollinators. Centered around a welcoming firepit gathering space, it weaves together fruit and nut trees, native pollinator plantings, and annual beds to provide food for friends and family while supporting local ecology.

A surrounding fence protects the space from wildlife while marking the boundaries of this sanctuary. Within, I included a composting system and a harvesting station, creating a closed-loop design that celebrates community, nourishment, and connection to the land.

Sanctuary at the Fire Pit

This North Texas design was created with a vision of providing employees a space for care, rest, and community building. Expanding on an existing pond, trails, picnic tables, and a horseshoe area, I added a food forest, a windbreak, annual garden spaces, an outdoor art gallery, and restful seating areas.

This beautiful gift to the employees extends beyond the workplace—it opens to the surrounding town on special occasions, fostering connection, celebration, and a shared sense of place.
